I am a Catholic League member.

In their September 2007 issue of the "Catalyst" it reveals Amnesty International's approval of an abortion-rights policy.
.
In the Press Release I firmly object to a statement made by Kate Gilmore, Amnesty's deputy secretary-general, criticizing the Church's opposition, holding that "our purpose invokes the law and the state, not God."
.
I am writing to you to let you know that, as a person with concrete faith in God, I will not support a group, agency or business that makes such an affirmation or statement.
.
Maybe Amnesty International should now obtain funding from the 'State', and shouldn't be surprised if the faithful in God decide to withdraw their support.
.
I believe that an official apology should be issued from Amnesty International for this Faux Pas and/or Ms. Kate Gilmore should step down.
.
I am respecting the Church's position in this matter, unlike the obvious, and outright, disrespect shown from Amnesty International.
.
Unless I see a change of thinking/tone from Amnesty International you will not see my support.
