I read in an article online over at Yahoo news that Paris Hilton was let go, and put under house arrest today.

It doesn't surprise me that she was released. She might not really like house arrest either, but it is better than being in relative isolation in jail. I have to admit I was a bit worried about her, being in a prison environment. It was said in the article that she was released to house arrest due to mental and her overall well-being.

Could any withdrawl from any addiction problem she might have been the actual hushed up problem I wonder?

I've been hearing stuff on TV concerning this, and I am a bit appalled. I've noticed that there are quite a few people being self-righteous, and saying some really hateful things - sounding like they would actually be happy or satisfied if she would actually be hurt.

Jesus said he who is without sin let him cast the first stone.

Paris did wrong with the drunk driving, driving with a suspended license, and being made to do the community service is inconvenient-which is most likely why she avoided doing it. I know people that had to go through it, and didn't at all like it.

AND wanted to try to get out of it.

I would like to see Paris learn a valuable lesson. One being that she is not above the law, and is also - like the rest of us - held accountable for our wrongdoing or law breaking. I would like it if she would see how fickle the media is, and pandering to it in the long run is futile.

The media will turn against someone in an instant, and I've seen this more than once. I've seen the media being downright vicious to celebrities if they have any kind of failings - then in the next instance singing their praises and fascinated with their every move. Anna Nicole Smith is one example. The media was morbid in it's curiousity over her misfortune and her unfortunate death. Not shortly before that I saw the media being downright vicious in how they portrayed her. The media was downright horrible with Princess Diana as well - and was a strong factor in her untimely death.

Mel Gibson made a masterpiece with "The Passion Of The Christ". Did anybody try to stick up for him - or show a small amount of support - when Satan predictably snared him? I heard that there were people who were really eager to boycott him. Hopefully he will find recovery. Satan snared him, and will continue to try to use it against him, as far as his drinking. (It might be a good idea for him to give the book "I'm Ok, You're Ok" a look as well.) Satan would not let him make such a significant difference like that without doing something to bring him down, and to do his best to discredit and ruin him.

It's not all the media either with the hatefulness and self-righteousness.

Is the media in reality creating or just simply reflecting the hatefulness in society? Or is it both? (this thought just occurred to me.)

Paris might need a more stable support system for guidance. Her mom came across as an elitist, and the behavior that has been showing on newsreports is disgraceful. I learned a long time ago that it is a good thing to recognize when the people closest to us can be wrong or not the best influence. Especially if they are not at all any real help or guidance.

I like it that Paris faced up to her responsibility, and DID report for her sentence. She didn't run off on the next plane to France. It's not surprising to me that she does not at all like it being in jail.

Could there be possible manipulation to try to get out of her predicament - maybe. It wouldn't surprise me.

Is it repressed jealousy that people are seemingly really satisfied that she is down, and kicking her while she's in trouble?

Not good, people.

I'd like her to find recovery. Maybe she will actually give the Bible I saw her carrying on the news a look. She would find a good support system there. She has a Father who loves her, and wants her to find out what's true and what isn't.

I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt again, and took her off my boycott list - at least for the moment. I want to see how she does through all this, and if she is able to make any real and concrete changes.

I've been in trouble before, and I didn't like it. I learned from it however. Hopefully Paris will too.
