I was doing my Bible study earlier, and posting my monthly Bible study on one of my sites. The Lord speaks to me through my Bible reading.

John 15:4-7

4. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

5. I am the vine, ye are the branches; He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing.

6. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire are burned.

7. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

The Lord said to me that it is not already good for Ms. Griffin to make the statement such as she did. He is encouraging me to forgive her, because her path is not good already. I think it is a sad thing indeed for her when I think about it.

Without the Lord actively in someone's life it is like a plant that is never watered. The person becomes sick, withers and dies. (I read that Gehenna is not a good place.)

It doesn't change my mind that I will not buy or support any of her stuff, (unless she repents of course.)

- and to want cleaner TV.

I do not at all want my grandchildren turning on the TV and hearing such filth.

I'm glad that the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is showing itself to be decent in this by agreeing to censor the offensive (filth) statement. I thank them for doing that.

I thank the Catholic League as well for being diligent on the job! The Lord would be pleased I think!

There are many people that I know - including myself - who would be, and are, deeply offended by what she declared. I don't see it at all as humor - somethings you just simply do not say, or do, even if it is out of simple respect and regard for other people.

Ms. Griffin is entitled to her opinion. I don't watch her show that she received the award for, and I'm glad. I did not know she was like this. I have the option to not watch her show - which I won't. An awards show is different, and is open to many other people - in that her comment is totally inappropriate and abusive.

FYI: I don't believe it is possible for someone to be a 'Militant Atheist' and a Catholic - Christian - at the same time.

AND the Lord Jesus does NOT deserve to be talked to that way.
